Levelling mortars wall
Light levelling mortar for walls, fast-harding, Mechanical apllication.
Characteristic product properties
- Tiles can be laid after 3-4 hours!
- Can be used for levelling masonry and rough stone and gypsum based supports.
- Layer thicknesses of 2 mm and above.
- Can be applied as a single coat, even for thicker layers.
- Indoor and outdoor.
Applications
For levelling out hardened cement / lime plaster layers, concrete walls, aerated concrete, gypsum plaster, gypsum blocks, sand-lime brick, masonry and stony, closed substrates. The mortar is water vapour permeable with good adhesion. As it is made from light primary materials, the mortar can be applied as a single layer, even if a thicker covering is required.

Is it necessary to apply a primer before plastering?
A primer ensures better adhesion of the plaster mortar to the substrate. This is especially important for smooth, closed and porous or highly absorbent surfaces. Where plaster mortar without a primer would have difficulty bonding properly. In addition, a primer also ensures even absorption of the plaster mortar, making it easier to strip off the plaster mortar and polish it, sand it or finish it with a trowel.
When do I choose a gypsum-bound plaster mortar or a cement-bound plaster mortar? And can I combine these?
