Preparing the surface

Pre-priming? That is certainly the way to good tiling!

When sticking tiles, first provide the surface with a good pre-treatment. A primer ensures optimal adhesion and protects the surface. You will benefit from this when tiling and finishing. A primer improves the entire system.

With a primer, the quality is in your own hands.

When you're tiling, your main goal is for the tiles to stay where you applied them. To stick the tiles, choose one of our quality products., because that's why you take quality into your own hands. If necessary, first apply a leveling mortar for the wall and/or leveling mortar for the floor. Another option is a decoupling mat under your tiling. But either way, use a primer.

The Primer has four functions.

A primer has four functions: regulating the moisture from an adhesive product for optimal final strength, so that the substrate does not absorb too much and too quickly, and so the adhesive has time to harden. Secondly, the binding of dust particles is important so that the tile actually adheres to the surface. Thirdly, increasing the bonding surface at a microscopic level. And finally, protecting moisture-sensitive surfaces. All our primers have one or more of these properties, they are ready-to-use, and you can apply them with a roller, brush, or spray.
