Admix strengthener for mortars.

Characteristic product properties

  • Makes mortars more shock/frost resistant.
  • Can be applied as a bonding bridge.
  • Waterproof, even when used in very low dosages.
  • Indoor and outdoor.

Applications

Liquid adjuvant for high quality and waterproof mixtures of construction materials. It can be used inside or outside. This adjuvant can be used in Portland cement/high quality sand mortars, for plasters, cement screeds, levelling layers and concrete repairs. Suitable for use as an adjuvant in interior bedding mortar and as an interior/exterior fixing mortar for cleaving and stoneware tiles, which are dry pressed, nonabsorbent and may be enamelled. Mortars enriched with WD+ omnibind are solid, shock/frost resistant and ideal for tile/natural stone finishes, which are affected by vibrations, industrial traffic, chemical products, frost and the maritime climate. Not suitable for use as a primer.

Why should I use an admixture?

Naturally, we design our products with a specific application and performance in mind. However, a specific situation in your project may require additional performance or properties. With our admixtures, you can enhance products yourself in terms of water resistance, flexibility, or impact sensitivity.

How much admixture do I need?

When you want to influence the performance and properties of a product yourself, it is good to know that this has been extensively tested by us in advance. We have incorporated the knowledge and experience regarding the quantities to be used, as stated on the packaging and product data sheet, which are often more accurate than you might think.

I have leftover admixture, can I still use it?

When using admixtures, we often see leftovers lingering in the warehouse or bus for a long time. With an opened package, the material loses its working properties over time, and its quality may deteriorate. Also, be alert to the harmful influence of frost. When in doubt, opt for the security of a fresh, unopened package.
