It can always be made even more sustainable, as we have proven once again. We have slightly reduced the thickness of our paper bag packaging. Extensive testing shows that these lighter paper bags are still more than strong enough for any challenging construction environment.   

Small successes in sustainability can add up to a significant impact. For example, we replaced our 90-gram packaging paper with 80-gram paper. Just calculate how much that contributes... 

Wins on All Fronts
Firstly, by switching to thinner paper, less wood pulp is used, which reduces the demand for natural resources. Additionally, thinner paper makes the bags slightly lighter, which can cumulatively lead to lower transport costs, especially for large volumes. Thirdly, thinner paper results in less waste after the bags are used. This is beneficial for both you and the waste management systems. Finally, thinner paper can often be recycled more easily and efficiently, promoting the circularity of materials. In short, a win on all fronts.

Even More Paper
In addition to our bag packaging, we have also replaced our well-known bright green plastic bags. You probably recognize them if you visit us at trade shows and other events. The new paper versions carry the ‘FSC recycled material’ certification as proof that no trees were cut down for their production. Furthermore, we print them using sustainable water-based inks.
