SC omnimat
Decoupling mats
Applications
SC omnimat provides decoupling for underfloor heating, floors subject to thermal fluctuations, wood panels, fresh concrete and cement screeds. Decoupling prevents cracks from appearing in the tiled surface, even if up to 2 mm wide cracks appear in the surface! The membrane is flexible and heat
permeable, so that it can also be used on surfaces where underfloor heating has already been fitted. Vapour pressure levelling for damp supports. The presence of polypropylene fabric makes it possible to neutralise any vapour pressure in damp supports. Tile coverings can therefore be applied without any problems, including on concrete load-bearing structures and even new or damp cement screeds. As it is less than 0.87 mm thick, the membrane can be used almost anywhere. It can be used in the construction of houses, functional buildings, commercial outlets, industrial kitchens and restaurants, in both dry and damp areas, to name just a few examples. Examples of uses: Indoor application: residential buildings, utility buildings, retail premises, industrial kitchens and restaurants in locations that are dry or damp. Outdoor application: terraces, balconies and gallery floors
