Extra-strong plaster mortars thanks to admixtures
Admixtures, also known as mortar enhancers, are high-quality blends designed to enhance the physical and mechanical properties of building materials for both indoor and outdoor applications. By incorporating these admixtures into the mortar, tensile strength and adhesion increase, making them suitable for applications with significant vibrations, exposure to frost, and on wall heating systems. Admixtures can also reduce water absorption, making the plaster particularly suitable for applications such as plastered facade plinths (drip edges). When used as a bonding layer, it increases resistance to shear stresses which is ideal for smooth and closed surfaces.

Which product is most suitable for my application?
Due to the diversity of applications and surfaces, it is best to use our plaster guide for this.
Is it necessary to apply a primer before plastering?
A primer ensures better adhesion of the plaster mortar to the substrate. This is especially important for smooth, closed and porous or highly absorbent surfaces. Where plaster mortar without a primer would have difficulty bonding properly. In addition, a primer also ensures even absorption of the plaster mortar, making it easier to strip off the plaster mortar and polish it, sand it or finish it with a trowel.
